PLUMB - Utility Axe Vintage Axe Shirt
Plumb was founded by Fayette R. Plumb in 1887 and the name continues to this day. Throughout the 1900's, Plumb had a strong reputation as one of the best axe and hammer brands. With their iconic red handles and tried & true innovations like Permabond and the Take-Up Wedge, Plumb Axes gained a reputation for quality tools.
Iconic axes like the "Jet Wing", "Dreadnaught", "Autograph" and "Champion" gave excitement, beauty and personna to the axe.
This shirt celebrates the artwork of Plumb for their "Destroyer" design. The Destroyer was a tribute to our military might after winning World War 2. The Destroyer axes were also stamped with the familar PLUMB rectangle logo but with "VICTORY" stamped directly underneath.
You get a high quality, exact reproduction of the actual sticker that came on the head of the PLUMB Utility axes. The back of the shirt reads "PLUMB" across the shoulders in the square iconic logo.
